AllMusicConverter is a Windows application that can be installed in most versions of this operating system, like XP or Windows 7. It features a point and click installation process and requires low system resources for converting files.

When running the software, it will ask the user to point to the file that he wants to convert. He can cancel this operation and do it later on. The program's interface allows loading more media files at once and converting them. Speaking about conversion, there are numerous video and audio settings for this. In case we are talking about video files, AllMusicConverter features a lot of presets for making videos compatible with most media devices, like iPod or Zune Player. Furthermore, video files can have their audio extracted to the MP3 or AAC format.

Converted files can be created in the same folder as the original ones or in a custom folder chosen by the user. In case there are many media files loaded into the program, AllMusicConverter will convert them one by one.
